Editorial Leadership
Responsible for the editorial line and for the final decision on every manuscript, in the light of the reviewers' reports. It carries out initial screening, assigns editors and reviewers, sets section policy and represents the journal before indexers and persistent identifier agencies.
Editorial Board
Deliberative body. It sets editorial policy, approves changes to scope, sections and guidelines, decides authors' appeals against editorial decisions and oversees compliance with good practice. It convenes at the Editor-in-Chief's request.

Scientific Committee
An advisory body of professors holding doctorates with expertise in the subjects within PIDCC's scope. As their availability allows, its members propose thematic dossiers, suggest reviewers and collaborators, recommend editorial improvements and help disseminate the journal's output. Membership does not involve the journal's day-to-day management nor any obligation to review manuscripts. Submissions by Committee members follow the same workflow and the same double-anonymous peer review applied to any author.

Manuscripts submitted to PIDCC undergo double-blind peer review by ad hoc reviewers external to the journal's editorial body. The list of reviewers who have collaborated with the journal is published periodically.
