Conflict of Interest

PIDCC requires full transparency regarding any interest that may affect the objectivity and integrity of the editorial process or of the research findings.

Authors

Must disclose sources of funding (scholarships, funding agencies) and any institutional or commercial ties that may bias the findings.

Reviewers and Editors

Must decline to take part in the editorial process where they identify collaborative, family or competing relationships with the authors that would compromise impartiality.

Compliance: Failure to disclose conflicts of interest is regarded as ethical misconduct and is handled in accordance with COPE protocols.
