Performance evaluation: a systematic review and analysis of the recent literature

Performance Evaluation is a usual process in decision making contexts. Therefore, considering the importance of this process and its impact on organizations and people's lives, it is presented in this paper a systematic review of the literature present on the ScienceDirect database. After selection of the papers, a bibliometric and a content analysis are done. As a result of this paper, the most relevant publications are identified. It is also presented the improvements on the methods presented in those papers.
