Editorial PIDCC Editorial policy Peer review Intellectual propertyAbstract
Opening text of the twentieth issue of PIDCC, signed by the editor-in-chief Carla Eugenia Caldas Barros. The presentation places the journal in its fifth year of publication, now without Denis Borges Barbosa, described as its mentor and sponsor, and restates the editorial willingness to accept innovative work that departs from traditional positions in intellectual property. The editor then describes the composition of the issue: eleven articles, all approved and all from outside the home institution, by Brazilian authors from four states and two regions of the country — Sergipe in the Northeast and São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro in the Southeast — as well as by Portuguese authors. She reports the use of double blind review, the provenance of the ad hoc reviewers and the composition of the editorial team, with twenty-five members from eleven states and from Portugal and Spain, and records that every article in the issue already has a DOI. The text closes by thanking the authors who entrusted their work to the journal.
