Contemporary science has provided an unprecedented sense of human control. Simultaneously, society demands a break from traditional law, whose isolated study brings insecurity, observed in randomly different decisions for similar cases. In this scenario, preventive advocacy has become a trend by positioning the lawyer as a protagonist in communication with society, providing legal certainty through planning in the decision-making process of the client. Despite this, the bibliography about its references is still scarce. Cybernetics and Jurimetrics constitute a theoretical framework that will be developed in an analytical and historical manner, as the understanding of their mechanisms helps in an effective paradigm shift in favor of a risk reduction policy.
